Club Fall Tour -- October 4th - 6th, 2024

Please join your fellow Members & guests for a fun weekend at the Carson Hot Springs Resort in Carson Washington!!   The Resort is holding 15 rooms for us so please contact the Resort and make your room reservations.  The phone number at the resort is 509/427-8296.  Do not make your reservations online RATHER please reserve by phone to guarantee the discounted rates.

At the resort, there are two buildings:  an older one and a newer one.  No matter which building you are in, you will still have a clean room and access to the whole resort.  Room rates are per night and as follows (please add 9.72% taxes):  Cabin Room - king or 2 queen at $114; Deluxe Room - king or 2 queen with fireplace at $174; Deluxe Room - king or 2 queen with fireplace & hot tub at $214; King Suite - 1 king, hot tub, fireplace, kitchenette at $284; and lastly 1 Bedroom Suite - king, sofa bed, hot tub, full kitchen at $318.  

There is golf and spa treatments available.  Massages too!!   If you are interested in spa treatments or massages, please make your treatment & massage reservations as early as possible to insure that the resort has adequate staffing.

Meet at  9:30am at the Park & Ride location at 16001 SE Cascade Park Drive which is the 164th Street exit off of Hwy 14.  Be prepared to depart at 10:00am.  Diana Koch will bring her wonderful cookies to distribute and bring your dollars to participate in Mike Koch's POKER RUN!!

The route from Vancouver will head east on Hwy 14 to enjoy the beautiful views of the Gorge.  We will have lunch at the Maryhill Winery that sits high above the Columbia River with a view of Mt Hood.   After lunch, we will head west to Lyle Washington and then begin our drive northeast, up into the forest to enjoy all the Fall colors and occasional views of Mt Adams.  Our drive will take us along the Klickatat River, through Glenwood to Trout Lake and then to our final destination of Carson Hot Springs.

We will congregate at the fire pit located on the Resort to enjoy an adult beverage each night on both Friday and Saturday nights.  Temperatures will cool down so bring your heavier jackets and your portable chairs.

On Saturday, there is a Brewfest at the Golf Couse at the Resort between noon to 6pm.  There will be music, lots of food vendors, and, of course, local beers.   Golf Course staff will be available to drive MHCC Brewfest participants back to the Resort rooms in golf carts!!

On Sunday, after check-out, those that want to enjoy a VERY fun game of 18-hole miniture golf can follow the host west to Skamania Lodge where there is a beautifully designed expansive miniture golf course that sits amongst the forest.
